A little while back at our Ask Sharefaith post, we received a request about how to use Sharefaith resources in other languages. It’s a great question. Here’s a quick overview of how to use Sharefaith’s media with any language.

PowerPoints in Any Language

All of Sharefaith’s PowerPoint templates have at least six predesigned pages. Although some of the pages have text in the actual slide design, other of the slides display a blank page with no text. These are what you can use as a template for a PowerPoint display in any other language. Simply select this slide, set as master slide, and insert your own text in any other language.

If you have skills with a photo editing program such as Photoshop, Xara Extreme Pro, or a similar program, you can use these to edit the JPG version of the slides to your preference–including logos, titles, or text in other languages.

Bulletin Covers in Any Language

Most of Sharefaith’s bulletin covers do not include text. These can be easily customized with any language. The bulletin covers are available as a MS Word file, Publisher file, or JPG image. Again, it is easy to add any text in any language by using the Word or Publisher file. Or, if you prefer using a photo editing software, you can do the same thing.

Videos in Any Language

Sharefaith’s welcome videos usually contain English text such as a welcome message or “We’re glad you’re here.” These cannot be edited. However, most welcome videos have an accompanying worship video background. The worship video background does not have text. Thus, you can add your own text and titles to these videos using any worship software–MediaShout, ProPresenter, Keynote, or even PowerPoint (2010 version).

All of Sharefaith’s media is available for download in JPG, EPS, or PNG, giving you the freedom to edit, alter, change, customize, modify, beautify, adapt, rework, tailor, or modify to your exact preferences. If you’re not yet a member of Sharefaith, but would like to use our vast library of thousands of resources for church media, get signed up and get started.

(If you’re looking for Spanish resources, Sharefaith does have a modest selection of Spanish images.)
