Isaiah 40:31- “But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.”
Just like a mobile phone or tablet needs recharging to receive power in order to be effective and purposeful, each of us does as well. This is especially true of church leadership. This is necessary not just a few times a year, but on a daily basis.
If you are in church leadership, take time to daily plug into God’s Word, the source of life, and receive renewed strength, vision, and courage. You cannot purposefully serve others if you are not empowered by the Purpose Giver. Spend time in prayer and worship and soak up the power to empower others!
