The Living Waters theme is our latest church website template that empowers churches to design their own website in an hour or less! Select our new Living Waters website template and simply replace the demo content with your own, keep the same color scheme, imagery and design and you’ll have a website that is guaranteed to wow your congregation and your visitors in no time!

THE HOMEPAGE: Living Waters church website template has a breathtaking homepage! The tile-like design makes for a clean, yet powerful layout that makes a statement and also gives all of the “need to know” information right on the homepage. The gradient style overlay of the images matches nicely with the main image of the site.  The font remains simple and elegant throughout the homepage while staying with one color & font style. The navigation menu is easy to use while providing a “minimalist” approach by keeping the page titles in the navigation menu to single-word lengths and only having a drop down when applicable. This creates a nice user experience and prevents your church website from overwhelming visitors on your site, especially first time visitors. Do your best not to exceed more than 6 main navigation menu items so as to keep this same style. Use simple text or your church logo at the top of the homepage. If you are going to use your church logo, it’s recommended to keep the same color scheme as the site, make sure it is a transparent PNG file, and refrain from anything flashy or over the top with your logo design. If your logo isn’t up-to-date or the design conflicts with the rest of your site design, using simple text does the trick, as shown on this template. One new feature that is exclusive to this Living Waters template is the custom site header as seen at the very top of this template. This custom site header can be changed and adjusted as you see fit and will be shown on all of your pages. As you can see with this template, the style is very simple, while also showcasing social media icons that link to the social media profiles. This custom site header is perfect for making important announcements or alerts such as a change in service time, prayer requests, fundraisers and more!

EVENTS & ACTIVITIES: Your church calendar has never looked so good! With this Living Waters template, adding a calendar is a breeze. Simply grab the embed code from your Google Calendar and stick with the same color scheme as used on this template and your church events & activities will look amazing! Remember, sometimes less is more. There truly is no need to overwhelm your congregation or visitors with a messy calendar or extravagantly designed Events page.

WOMEN’S MINISTRY: In similar fashion to the rest of the Living Waters template, the Women’s Ministry page keeps the same color scheme and minimalist design, while also keeping with the same text formatting and style. This page allows for some freedom to add more information about your women’s ministry, while also including a nice photo (or perhaps a video) or contact information for your women’s ministry director. Remember to keep it simple and clean.

AUDIO SERMONS AND TEACHING: Creating a playlist of your archived sermons is easy! Simply add your own sermons, descriptions, sermon notes and video links while keeping the same layout. This provides an intuitive sermon player for your website visitors!

ABOUT US – LEADERSHIP TEAM: Keep it simple, clean and stylish! Gone are the days you have a page for every one on your leadership team, as well as your statement of faith, vision and mission. The Living Waters template combines all of these into one stunning page, while providing all the info any visitor could need without overwhelming them with too much information. Simply add your own statement of faith and replace the placeholder leadership team with your own!

YOUTH & YOUNG ADULT: Stay away from applying different themes or color schemes to pages such as “youth” or “young adults”. Just stick with the theme of this template and replace the placeholder content. Swap out the image, add a video, and make it fun and exciting, while staying with the theme that this awesome template already provides.
