Kristene DiMarco is not a name everyone is familiar with. She is one of the many artists associated with Jesus Culture. Her debut album, Those Who Dream, was released under her maiden name, Kristene Mueller, back in 2008. Since then, she has released another studio album in 2012, Safe Place, and has been featured on many of Bethel Music’s albums as well. Mighty is her first-ever, full-length live album.

The album starts off with “Jesus, Your Love” which starts off slow and soft, building into a powerful chorus with a choir providing background vocals. The song reminds us that no matter the season we are in, Jesus’ steady love, it will sustain us.
The title track of the album, “Mighty”, is one of the most powerful tracks with a compelling chorus. The choir that provides the background vocals adds to the “Gospel music” feel of the track. Kristene’s well known rendition of “It Is Well” also makes an appearance on Mighty. “It Is Well” is a declaration to trust in Jesus and the chorus will be familiar by both young and old. The album ends with “Over and Over Again” which is about Christ constantly proving His love to us. This song is a great reminder that we are covered by the blood of Jesus Christ, and He takes us out of shame into glory!
