If you are serving in ministry, there is a good chance that you might feel overwhelmed. With projects such as community outreaches, sermon preparation and special events, it’s easy to become overbooked. Unfortunately, it’s common that you will be involved in minor church issues that distract you from finishing important projects, like planning an elder’s retreat or preparing for Easter Sunday.

Structure your responsibilities by planning your goals and creating deadlines. Keep track of your projects and work off of a checklist of priorities and have a weekly planning meeting with your staff to make sure everybody is on the same page. Lastly, keep your workspace organized and your project planning in an easily accessible folder.
