This tutorial shows you how to edit your logo and insert it into your website.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/fokLB9OQX1Q\" frameborder=\"0\" width=\"480\" height=\"360\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong>Note: <\/strong>If you don&#8217;t have a logo, simply leave the logo link box blank (under SF Theme Options in your Church Website admin). Your domain name will now show up in text at the top instead of your logo. To change this text, simply go to your website control panel and under Settings click on General. Then type in your desired name in the Site Title box.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Important: Your logo size should be 541px \u00a0wide x 100px \u00a0high and saved as a transparent PNG. You cannot use just any size image. You must make your image the right specifications in order to fit within the allowed logo size. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>You may use any photo editing software to prepare or create your church logo. For this tutorial we will use a free online program called <a href=\"http:\/\/pixlr.com\/editor\/\">PIXLR<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In this tutorial we will work on a transparent PNG background. That way your logo will overlay perfectly on the website background. If you don\u2019t use a transparent background, you will end up with an ugly-looking block that will ruin the professionalism of your site. If you follow our instructions carefully, you will end up with one amazing looking logo and site!<\/p>\n<p><strong>PREPARING\/CREATING YOUR CHURCH LOGO<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<ol>\n<li>Go to: <a href=\"http:\/\/pixlr.com\/editor\/\">http:\/\/pixlr.com\/editor\/<\/a><\/li>\n<li>In the little pop-up window click on \u2013 Create A New Image<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/ol>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5178\" title=\"pix1a\" src=\"https:\/\/www.sharefaith.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/03\/pix1a.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"490\" height=\"432\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogrouting.sharefaith.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/03\/pix1a.jpg 490w, https:\/\/blogrouting.sharefaith.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/03\/pix1a-300x264.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 490px) 100vw, 490px\" \/><\/p>\n<ol>\n<ol>\n<li>A new small window will pop-up. This simply means your logo box (541 x 100) has a transparent background.<\/li>\n<li>Import your current church logo by clicking the FILE from on the black menu (NOT YOUR BROWSER!).<\/li>\n<li>Then click on OPEN IMAGE from the drop down menu<\/li>\n<li>Select your image from your computer. (Remember, don\u2019t use a large photo. This should be the icon or logo your church already uses.)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/ol>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5182\" title=\"pix3\" src=\"https:\/\/www.sharefaith.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/03\/pix31.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"490\" height=\"432\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogrouting.sharefaith.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/03\/pix31.jpg 490w, https:\/\/blogrouting.sharefaith.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/03\/pix31-300x264.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 490px) 100vw, 490px\" \/><\/p>\n<ol>\n<ol>\n<li>Once opened inside PIXLR, click on the logo icon. Then click on EDIT from the top black menu and choose SELECT ALL<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5183\" title=\"pix4\" src=\"https:\/\/www.sharefaith.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/03\/pix4.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"490\" height=\"432\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogrouting.sharefaith.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/03\/pix4.jpg 490w, https:\/\/blogrouting.sharefaith.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/03\/pix4-300x264.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 490px) 100vw, 490px\" \/><\/li>\n<li>Again, click on EDIT from the black menu and click on COPY<\/li>\n<li>Now click on your empty box and click again on EDIT from the black top menu and choose PASTE<\/li>\n<li>Your logo icon will now have been pasted inside your empty logo box<\/li>\n<li>Your logo might have a white background space around it. To get rid of it, simply click on the logo icon in your big logo box and then click on the MAGIC WAND.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/ol>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5184\" title=\"pix5\" src=\"https:\/\/www.sharefaith.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/03\/pix5.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"490\" height=\"432\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogrouting.sharefaith.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/03\/pix5.jpg 490w, https:\/\/blogrouting.sharefaith.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/03\/pix5-300x264.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 490px) 100vw, 490px\" \/><\/p>\n<ol>\n<ol>\n<li>Now click with the MAGIC WAND tool on the white space around the logo. It will selected it and you will see flashing striped lines.\u00a0 Simply press DELETE on your keyboard. This will now erase the white background and you will end up with just the logo icon.<\/li>\n<li>Now let\u2019s add some text to the right side of the logo.<\/li>\n<li>Click on the letter \u201cA\u201d on the left side toolbar (2<sup>nd<\/sup> from the bottom right)<\/li>\n<li>Position your mouse cursor right next to the logo icon and click. Then start typing<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5185\" title=\"pix6\" src=\"https:\/\/www.sharefaith.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/03\/pix6.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"490\" height=\"432\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogrouting.sharefaith.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/03\/pix6.jpg 490w, https:\/\/blogrouting.sharefaith.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/03\/pix6-300x264.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 490px) 100vw, 490px\" \/><\/li>\n<li>You can change the Font, Size and color of the text. Once done, move the text where you want it by clicking on the Black ARROW on the left side toolbar and then click again on your text.<\/li>\n<li>Choose a text color that contrasts the website background design. We highly recommend you use white all the time, unless the background is a very light color.<\/li>\n<li>When you are done and ready to save, simply change your font color to white (it will be hard to read, on the checkered boxes inside your logo box, but will appear fine on your actual website.<\/li>\n<li>To change the color, click on the \u201cA\u201d tool in the left toolbar, then click on your text and then click on COLOR. Select your color by dragging the circles to your desired choice.\u00a0 In this example we used the recommended white. When done, click OK.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/ol>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5186\" title=\"pix7\" (max-width: 490px) 100vw, 490px\" \/><\/p>\n<ol>\n<ol>\n<li>SAVE your file by clicking on the \u201cFILE\u201d option from the black menu, and then selecting (max-width: 490px) 100vw, 490px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<ol>\n<ol>\n<li>In the window that pops up, type in your logo name at the top<\/li>\n<li>Under FORMAT, select PNG (Transparent, full quality)<\/li>\n<li>Then click OK and choose the location where you want to save the file<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>UPLOADING YOUR CHURCH LOGO TO YOUR WEBSITE<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<ol>\n<li>Log into your church website control panel<\/li>\n<li>In your left menu bar click on MEDIA<\/li>\n<li>At the top next to MEDIA LIBRARY, click on ADD NEW<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-5256\" title=\"2011-05-27_1634\" src=\"https:\/\/www.sharefaith.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/03\/2011-05-27_16341.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"492\" height=\"130\"
