Christmas is only a few days away and <\/span>some members <\/span>are <\/span>choosing to continue worshipping from home<\/span> while others may be stepping foot into the church for the first time<\/span>.<\/span> No matter how people are participating, you will want to help them feel welcome and like a part of the church family.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Here are a few ways to improve your church\u2019s Christmas experience:<\/h3>\n

  1. Have clear communications<\/span><\/b>\u00a0–\u00a0<\/span>S<\/span>hare <\/span>info about service times <\/span>on your website, through an email blast, and even <\/span>on <\/span>social media<\/span>. Take it to the next level and have your pastor hop on Facebook live to invite the community.<\/span>

  2. Offer virtual prayer<\/span><\/b> – <\/span><\/b>For those watching from home, virtual prayer is a way to help them feel acknowledge and cared for<\/span>. Have a few staff or prayer team members interacting on the livestream chat and offering prayer for those in need.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Spread cheer<\/span><\/b> –<\/span> Have staff members had out festive pre-packaged treats such as cookies or hot cocoa mix that families can take home and enjo<\/span>y. Include a tag with scripture or a note with a blessing. For those who can’t make it in for service, have volunteers drop off treats at doorsteps.
