Anyone who has responsibility for the work of others understands the unique challenges that come with managing people.\u00a0The good news is, God has provided us with a playbook to help us – the Bible.<\/p>\n

I want to share 25 bible verses that I have personally used to encourage and strengthen myself when I had the responsibility of managing other people.<\/p>\n

25 Bible Verses\u00a0To Help Leaders Manage People<\/h2>\n

I hope this\u00a0will strengthen and encourage you as you go through your day!<\/p>\n

  1. \u00a0\u201cThen the\u00a0LORD\u00a0answered me and said: \u201cWrite the\u00a0vision<\/strong>\u00a0And make\u00a0it<\/em>\u00a0plain on tablets, That he may run who reads it.\u201d\u00a0Habakkuk 2:2<\/strong><\/li>\n
  2. \u201cA wise man will hear and increase learning, And a man of understanding will attain wise counsel.\u201d \u00a0Proverbs 1:5<\/strong><\/li>\n
  3. \u201cWhere there is no counsel, the people fall; But in the multitude of counselors there is safety.\u201d \u00a0Proverbs 11:14<\/strong><\/li>\n
  4. \u201cFor as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also\u00a0is<\/em>\u00a0Christ.\u00a0For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body\u2014whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free\u2014and have all been made to drink into one Spirit.\u00a0For in fact the body is not one member but many.\u201d\u00a01 Corinthians 12:12-14<\/strong><\/li>\n
  5. \u201cMoreover you shall select from all the people able men, such as fear God, men of truth, hating covetousness; and place\u00a0such<\/em>\u00a0over them\u00a0to be<\/em>\u00a0rulers of thousands, rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0Exodus 18:21<\/strong><\/li>\n
  6. \u201cHe who is<\/em>\u00a0slow to anger\u00a0is<\/em>\u00a0better than the mighty, And he who rules his spirit than he who takes a city.\u201d \u00a0Proverbs 16:32<\/strong><\/li>\n
  7. \u201cObey those who rule over you, and be submissive, for they watch out for your souls, as those who must give account. Let them do so with joy and not with grief, for that would be unprofitable for you.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0Hebrews 13:17<\/strong><\/li>\n
  8. \u201cDo not withhold good from those to whom it is due,\u00a0when it is in the\u00a0power of your hand to do so.\u201d\u00a0Proverbs 3:27<\/strong><\/li>\n
  9. \u201cA man who isolates himself seeks his own desire; He rages against all wise judgment.\u201d \u00a0Proverbs 18:1<\/strong><\/li>\n
  10. \u201cWhoever guards his mouth and tongue, Keeps his soul from troubles.\u201d Proverbs 21:23<\/strong><\/li>\n
  11. \u201cDo not speak in the hearing of a fool, For he will despise the wisdom of your words.\u201d\u00a0Proverbs 23:9<\/strong><\/li>\n
  12. \u201cIf you faint in the day of adversity, Your strength is small.\u201d\u00a0Proverbs 24:10<\/strong><\/li>\n
  13. \u201cWhere\u00a0there is<\/em>\u00a0no wood, the fire goes out; And where\u00a0there is<\/em>\u00a0no talebearer, strife ceases.\u201d \u00a0Proverbs 26:20<\/strong><\/li>\n
  14. \u201cBe diligent to know the state of your flocks, And attend to your herds;\u201d Proverbs 27:23<\/strong><\/li>\n
  15. \u201cThose who forsake the law praise the wicked, But such as keep the law contend with them.\u201d\u00a0Proverbs 28:4<\/strong><\/li>\n
  16. \u201cTo show partiality is not good, Because for a piece of bread a man will transgress.\u201d\u00a0Proverbs 28:21<\/strong><\/li>\n
  17. \u201cWhoever loves instruction loves knowledge, But he who hates correction\u00a0is<\/em>\u00a0stupid.\u201d\u00a0Proverbs 12:1<\/strong><\/li>\n
  18. \u201cIt is<\/em>\u00a0an abomination for kings to commit wickedness, For a throne is established by righteousness.\u201d\u00a0Proverbs 16:12<\/strong><\/li>\n
  19. \u201cWhen the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; But when a wicked\u00a0man<\/em>\u00a0rules, the people groan.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0Proverbs 29:2<\/strong><\/li>\n
  20. \u201cA fool vents all his feelings, But a wise\u00a0man<\/em>\u00a0holds them back.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0Proverbs 29:11<\/strong><\/li>\n
  21. \u201cThe king establishes the land by justice, But he who receives bribes overthrows it.” \u00a0Proverbs 29:4<\/strong><\/li>\n
  22. \u201cA man\u2019s pride will bring him low, But the humble in spirit will retain honor.\u201d Proverbs 29:23<\/strong><\/li>\n
  23. \u201cThe fear of man brigs a snare, But whoever trusts in the Lord shall be safe.\u201d Proverbs 29:25<\/strong><\/li>\n
  24. \u201cFor the love of money is a root of all\u00a0kinds of<\/em>\u00a0evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.\u201d \u00a01 Timothy 6:10<\/strong><\/li>\n
  25. \u201cLet us not become weary in doing good,\u00a0for at the proper time\u00a0we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0Galatians 6:9<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
