In this #ThrowBackThursday edition of Sharefaith Music Spotlight, we are going to be focusing on a albums that have already been out for a couple of years. Both of these albums feature a live \u201cliving room\u201d style of worship. Those of you who are familiar with both of these albums will understand why these two go hand in hand. These albums are both live worship albums that were recorded in smaller group settings.<\/p>\n

\nRelease Date: September 30th, 2013<\/p>\n

Live at the Banks House<\/i> was recorded inside a house with a few dozen people singing along in the background. The album starts off with \u201cWe Have Come\u201d and \u201cBless the Lord\u201d before building into the powerful \u201cPraise Is Befitting\u201d, \u201cHelp Me Find My Own Flame\u201d and \u201cNo Better Time\u201d. Each song transitions from one to the next, flawlessly. \u201cNothing I Hold Onto\u201d and \u201cClimb\u201d beautifully sequence together so that even though they are two separate tracks, they feel like one long song. The album comes to a close with their most popular song, \u201cSet A Fire\u201d (Check Out Video<\/a>). \nRelease Date: March 19th, 2014
\nRecorded live, Housefires\u2019 self-titled debut consists of all original tracks. Just like Live at the Banks House<\/i>, this album resonates with a deep sense of worship. Things kick off with their upbeat song \u201cRise\u201d and continues with \u201cHeaven Is All Around Us\u201d and \u201cNever Run Dry\u201d (Check out Video<\/a>), which reminds us that, even in our brokenness or the times we feel lost, God\u2019s love and spirit will never run dry. \u201cGod of Abundance\u201d is a powerful reminder that God\u2019s abundance is why we are living and that God doesn\u2019t simply \u201cmeet my every need, You Exceed them\u201d. The entire album has an authentic rawness to it and each song gives off a sense of spontaneous worship. This album is also available in iTunes<\/a><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Each of these albums emanate a pure, raw form of worship with live recordings that draw you into the experience. It is rare to find examples like these that seemingly capture the true heart of worship in a format where the power of the moment has not lost its impact.<\/p>\n
