Senior Developer

  • Salary ($68K - $75K d.o.e.)

  • Mon-Friday, 8:30-5:00 (Closed on weekends)

We are growing our team, and will add a series of new product lines in 2013. You will be the senior developer for one of these exciting new product lines!

The Senior Developer will be a salary-based, in-house position working at our head office in Medford, Oregon. The successful candidate will work closely with the CEO, CTO, and department heads to oversee, build, and maintain the backend of our newest product lines.

Key Responsibility Overview (including but not limited too:)
  • Setting up the server and general IT responsibilities thereafter
  • MySql database and the logic tier solution (using hibernate)
  • Full backend programming solutions
  • Full front end HTML5 solution
  • Being able to blend it all together using Web 2.0 and HTML5 technology
  • Using an existing code base as a starting point.
  • This position will also help the CTO with additional development projects

Position Requirements:
  • Report to CEO and CTO, and work alongside other developers
  • 7+ years experience working in web development
  • B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent (a must)
  • Highly experienced in developing large and complex web applications
  • Highly experienced in back-to-front-end development
  • Ability to work from and through an existing complex code base
  • Expert ability to forecast and scout development time vs. ROI
  • Expert in documentation and project tracking
  • Solid knowledge on mobile development is a massive plus!

Recap: The Senior Developer will ultimately oversee all development and server IT for our new product line. He/she will have the aptitude to be an excellent project manager, as well as eventually take responsibility for managing and systematically hiring the development team for this particular product line.
