Trials and tribulations are part of the Christian life. The New Testament addresses the surety of suffering if we want to be like Jesus. In fact, Paul says that we should, “glory in our suffering, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope” (Romans 5: 3-4).

Top Bible Verses About Courage

Our hope is in exactly what Jesus tells us. In this world you will have trouble,” he says, “But take heart! I have overcome the world” (John 16:33). That doesn’t make the trials we face any less real or painful, but as Christians, our hope provides prospective, because, “hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us” (Romans 5:5).  Here are other Bible verses about courage we need everyday, especially in times of crisis.
