Every wished that you could think of a great song on the go, but you’re totally stuck? Song Suggest equips you with a handheld tool for selecting the right song from a collection of 600 well-known songs. You can search by song themes, key, and tempo. Build a binder of your favorite songs to quickly pull up at the right time. This is by far the most popular and widely used app for worship leaders.
ProPresenter Remote ($4.99)
If you use ProPresenter for your worship, you’ve got an app to control it all. While it doesn’t allow you to edit the slides, you can easily control them from the convenience of your iPhone. Browse presentations, control slides, pause song-sequence, and even use the “shake” movement of the phone to control slides. This is a powerful app exclusively for worship with ProPresenter.
Worship Music ($0.99)
You’ve never bought such an incredible songbook for so little money. This songbook has all the popular worship songs with both the lyrics and the matching chords. Need to search for a song, but forgot the title? Just tap in any of the lyrics you remember, and the song will come up. Transpose songs with a tap, or even check out the YouTube video of the song to remind you of how the song goes. You can search for songs by category (including children’s songs, easy, songs, etc.).
Shazam (free)
Have you ever had those painful moments where you know recognize a tune, but can’t remember the name of the song? Your iPhone will tell you through the Shazam app. Not only can you tell what’s playing, but you can actually purchase the track, too! Helpful for worship leaders.
Guitar Toolkit ($9.99)
It’s everything you needed for your guitar—in your iPhone. It contains a guitar tuner, a 500,000-chord library, a chord finder (using an onscreen fret board), tuning scales, a metronome, and other features that you know you’ll need. Contains tuning modes for 4, 5, and 6 string bass, mandolin, ukulele, and the 6 and 12-string guitar.
